Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA MATWYCZUK After a short battle with cancer on Monday, September 5, 2011, Maria Matwyczuk, aged 72 years of Winnipeg. Maria was born in Szczecin, Poland on September 13, 1938. She was employed as a housekeeper at Holy Family Home. Maria was a member of St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church and later attended Holy Ghost Church. Left to cherish Maria's memory are her son Myron (Francesca); granddaughter, Bianca; sister, Anna Zubyk and nieces Kasha and Malgousha of Poland. She was predeceased by her husband Mario and brother Eddie Zubyk. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
